I don’t think AI will replace us all. However, I do think it will be our everyday companion both at work and privately. Those who are familiar with it are gaining an edge already now.

I was responsible for AI projects and AI adoption when most corporates were still considering how to phrase such roles and who to hire for them.
I have 12 years of experience from the pharma and biotech industry from specialist, project and portfolio management, innovation and leadership roles.
AI is a people strategy. It requires leadership skills, understanding innovation barriers and change management as well as the ability to build from vision to actionable and measurable strategy.

Companies I worked with

Companies I worked with range from small biotechs to large pharma.
Among many others I worked with Novo Nordisk (various teams: from CMC to Communications), Merck - I trained the whole Danish Affiliate incl. leadership (leaders from these teams posted about our collaborations therefore I allow myself to name them. I am open to working in a confidential manner CDA, NDA if required).

I am also working as a strategic advisor with medtech and bitech startups - examples:

Nanostics and ARTIC.
I am also an advisor to SaaS/ consulting companies wanting to provide better fitting AI products/ services to the life science sector.

How did I get here?

I started as a Clinical Development Graduate in Novo Nordisk, I spent 4 years there working in biostatistics (semaglutide phase 3, N8-GP) and marketing(IDegLira/ Xultophy).
Then I moved to Leo Pharma where I become consecutively: Principal Statistician , Biostat Lead (leading Authorities intreactions and submission activities (Tralokinumab, Protopic). At that time I felt like I specialised deeply enough. It has never been my plan to have a long-term career as a statistician. I just wanted to understand Clinical Development and decision makeing deelply. I then moved on to the following project management and innovation roles in Leo Pharma: Project Manager (Project and Portfolio Management), Data Analytics and RWE and then Principal R&D Project Manager in Clinical Trial Innovation where we planned the 2023-2030 innovation strategy.
This chapter of my career gave me a different perspective. Suddenly I was not a Lead Statistician entitled to strongly pushing the agenda of meetings in the director I deemed correct, but more of a collaborator, leader, one that helps the team to get on the same page, stakeholder’s manager, change manager and advisor to leaders. I also became fascinated with Innovation (& it’s barriers) and started mentoring startups via a local incubator called DTU, Skylab parallel to my work.
I then joined an IT consultancy as an IT Implementation Lead. Now my experience was a rare mix of deep R&D specialization, project management and very senior stakeholders management and IT. In that last role I was thrown in deep waters without much help that I desperately needed (as I was only becoming an IT expert).
What I was not able to get from my bosses or peers I got from AI and become an AI super user. It seems I was building towards AI even without knowing it.
Because AI without deep process and people understanding is worth very little.
I was recruited into a role of AI & Digital R&D Strategic Initiatives Director in Genmab before AI became the hype it is now where I drove AI projects as R&D PM, and build one of the first AI adoption roadmaps in our industry.
Parallel to my work in Genmab I opened my own company EfficiencyTatics as I was being asked to train teams, and individuals in AI and advise other life science companies on AI strategy. Since May 2025 I work full time in Efficiency Tactics advising and training teams and individuals in our industry.
